… Jernej was an excellent host. You are basically staying in a private room at a remote farm house in nature. It is an ‘outdoorsy’ location so don’t come looking for the comforts of a hotel. The room is very small and opens to the rustic yard, and I had issues with mosquitoes and other flying bugs while trying to sleep at night. You need a car for getting around. It is ideal as a weekend getaway or a short vacation for nature lovers.

… If you’re looking for an immersive cultural experience combined with a short-term family-stay, then this is for you. As a solo-travelled from America, it was exactly what I wanted—and at an unbeatable price. They shared their homemade beer and it was truly delicious. You get to stay in a historic building with rustic barn doors and interior mixed with easily accessible outlets and plenty of lights. Such a relaxing and quiet space and you are living it like a local. Exactly what I was searching for on my trip and it exceeded my expectations. Note: the building is 200 years old and looks great for its age. That said, it’s still an old building so it’s not sparkling clean, but it’s as clean as you’d expect for something of its age on Airbnb for this price. Please stay here!! I will return one day.

… Spela and i think Jamir was bis name have been super kind to me. I expectet a little bit of hospitality but what i respond was extra super nice. I had a delicious Dinner and a nice conversation in the evening. They washed also my dirty clothes and helped me whereever i needed. Of course the house was very old and overall it is still a farm house. But they are continously renovating and I had everything i need. From warm water to a nice bed, towels and everything. My breakfast was together with the host and their kids and my day startet perfectly. Thanks to you it was a pleasent stay!

… Een fantastisch verblijf bij een fantastische familie! De eco-logde was, zoals te verwachten, basic – maar toch voorzien van alle gemakken. We werden supergoed onthaalt door Spela, haar man en twee kinderen. Fijne gesprekken gevoerd, een heel lekker (en gezond) ontbijt gekregen daags nadien bij fijne mensen op een prachtige locatie. Wat heeft een mens nog meer nodig? Aanrader!
